1948 Leaf baseball card set contains 98 cards measuring 2 3/8" x 2 7/8”. The cards in the set are not consecutively numbered - the actual card numbers span from 1-168.
uniqueness
49 cards are considered short prints. Variations include #102 Gene Hermanski without the letter "‘i’ in his last name, #136 Cliff Aberson has a full sleeve and a short sleeve (error) version, and #42 Kent Peterson has a red and back cap version.

Card #102 Gene Hermanski - there is a version with his last name spelled correctly and one without the letter "‘i’ in his last name.

Card #42 Kent Peterson can be found with him wearing a red cap and as well as a black cap.
