1957 Topps contains 80 cards measuring 2 1/2" x 3 1/2". This was the first basketball set produced by Topps.
UNIQUENESS
30 cards are single prints, 49 are double prints, and the Bob Pettit RC is a quadruple print
KEY Rookies and HALL OF FAMERS
The set contains 17 Hall of Famers and being the first mainstream basketball set in 9 years, contains the rookie cards of Bill Russell, Bob Cousy, Bob Pettit, Dolph Schayes, and Tommy Heinsohn.

UNIQUENESS
Though the set only has 80 cards it was printed on a 132 card sheet which lead to a variety of printing quantities. 31 cards were single printed, 48 were double printed, and the Bob Pettit card was quadruple printed. Bill Russell, Tom Heinsohn, and Vern Mikkelsen were the only three hall of famers with single (short printed) cards.
